This killer 1978 U.K. hit is a great “road anthem” for a moped gang. Imagine hearing this blaring as a gang of disaffected loners on Puch mopeds tear through the city on non-interstate thoroughfares at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour, speaking mangled German, tossing perfectly recyclable Sprite empty can into trash cans and hassling tollbooth operators. Those little Moog squiggles on the choruses are a perfect sonic representation of the moped rider’s rebel heart.
